At Ocean Orthodontics we implement the best sterilisation practices for your safety, hygiene and comfort. We achieve this by following a strict protocol that ensures all of the tools and instruments used during orthodontic treatment are sterilised well above the industry standard.
This includes:
Hand-scrubbing any visible debris from our instruments
Placing them in our state-of-the-art 'Sono Swiss' ultrasonic sterilisation
Washing and drying the instruments thoroughly
Running the instruments through our state-of-the-art LISE 500 autoclave machine to complete the sterilisation process
Our process ensures that all of the instruments at Ocean Orthodontics are 100% hygienic and safe for use.
We ensure that our whole team understands the importance of sterilisation and infection control and we conduct regular training sessions to ensure this protocol is adhered to at all times. This protocol is the dental and orthodontic industry standard as set out by the Australian Dental Association.
